The Office of Academic Affairs is dedicated to supporting the academic mission of the College. We accomplish this by developing and facilitating student-centered academic programs that help develop and nurture intellectual curiosity, critical inquiry and a passion for lifelong learning; by creating and sustaining the intellectual and artistic dimension of the campus; and by supporting faculty in their teaching, scholarship and research.
Through a liberal arts curriculum and Independent Study, A Wooster Education encourages intellectual confidence and flexibility to pursue any path a student chooses and at the same time provides the skills and tools needed for a successful career.
We promote student development through a comprehensive advising program, an undergraduate research program which spans across the four years, and excellent academic support services. Our students, faculty and staff enjoy the rewards of a campus-wide focused effort on diversity and global engagement and the resultant programs.
