French
Student Projects
The Department of French is pleased to present a selection of works from its students’ creative writing projects for Advanced French (French 216) during the Fall semester 2011.
Under the direction of Professor Marion Duval, students were required to write short detective stories for their final project. After conducting cultural research on France, the students made the decision to have as their setting the multicultural, residential nineteenth arrondissement in Paris. The avatar they created for use throughout the semester became characters in their work.
We welcome you to enjoy their four tales of mystery, adventure, and intrigue!
