Anthropology Majors, Class of 2012
Following the introductory course in anthropology, students continue with a course in physical anthropology, linguistics, or Introduction to Archaeology. In addition, students take courses in introductory sociology, contemporary anthropological theory, research methods, plus a course exploring the peoples and cultures of places including Japan, Latin America or North America. Majors then choose from a variety of electives, which may also include two Sociology courses. Students are also required to take advanced courses in either statistics or ethnography.
