Policy-oriented websites

Institute for Women's Policy Research is a research organization devoted exclusively to analysis of women's issues.

An excellent source of statistical information on women's status is the U.S. Department of Labor's Women's Bureau; in addition to statistical evidence, it offers short research reports on issues such as wages and careers for women.

The United Nations Maintains a site called WomenWatch, which provides information about global efforts to improve women's status.

Governor's Office for Women's Initiatives and Outreach has compiled resources covering a variety of topics in several venues.

General Women's Studies websites

Women's Studies/Women's Issues provides access to information on academic Women's Studies programs worldwide.

University of Wisconsin's Women's Studies Library site.  This site has several bibliographies on such topics as the glass ceiling, ecofeminism, and women mystery writers, as well as core lists of women's studies books in several topical areas.
