Paint the World Plaid! Off-Campus Experience Composition Contest
Description
Understanding the multilayered experiences that students can have off-campus, the Off-Campus Experience Composition Contest was developed by The Lilly Project for the Exploration of Vocation, Off-Campus Studies, and the Program in Writing to recognize students whose compositions represent the richness of off-campus learning. Compositions may be texts, images, sounds, movement, and/or performance, but all must be self-contained and easily distributable to multiple audiences. Submissions should reflect on Wooster-affiliated off-campus experiences that have encouraged, provoked, or enabled growth, development and integration in the personal, vocational, academic, and global lives of Wooster students.
Winners of the Off-Campus Experience Composition Contest are students whose compositions reflect on and demonstrate the integration of off-campus learning into their lives. The range of possible compositions is left open to encourage and attract the widest possible array of student expressions on this important topic.
Eligibility
The Off-Campus Experience Composition Contest is open to all current College of Wooster students who have had Wooster-affiliated off-campus experiences. This includes, but is not limited to, Lilly Project fellowships and grants, Wooster Volunteer Network service trips, Off-Campus Study, "Wooster in" programs, field work and/or research trips with professors.
