Internships

Internships allow you to enhance your skills and apply classroom knowledge to a professional environment. They provide a supervised short-term experience in a career field of interest. Interships are usually more substantial than part-time or summer jobs, and focus on the learning that takes place as a result of the work you are doing.

Summer Options

Summer is a time to step away from classes and think about life beyond the classroom. There are on-campus and off-campus options to consider during the summer months.

Having participated in Wooster’s Independent Study was truly significant towards choosing and deciding that medicine was the field for me. I was able to network with physicians at the Cleveland Clinic one of whom I worked with to design a study for my thesis. During my senior year, I had to manage my time between being on campus at Wooster participating in my course work and spending time at the Cleveland Clinic working with patients and running my study.
