The Wayne County Women’s Network is offering financial assistance in the form of a scholarship to help a Wayne County woman achieve success in her profession. Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship
The Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program for the Spring 2013 semester is offering two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000 scholarships, to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with a declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life-science field. American Mensa Local Group

The Canton Audubon Society
A $1,000 scholarship annually to rising juniors or seniors interested in making a difference in the environment through their study of environmental science, convservation, natural history and related subjects (including environmental law). iModules Scholarship Program
Ten scholarships in the amount of $1,500 awarded for the 2012-2013 school year. Must be a full time student for the Fall 2012 semester, attending or will be attending a school that is an iModules client for the Fall 2012 semester (Wooster is) and have a minimum C grade point average. Apply online.

Thomas J. Seefred Trust
Up to $3,000 each to college students between 18-25 years of age who are suffering from Juvenile Diabetes. The college student must be successfully completing a standard curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree. Current high school students are not eligible. This scholarship is open to Ohio residents with preference given to qualified applicants from Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana Counties in Ohio. All scholarships will be awarded by the Trust and will be based on academic promise, personal statement, reccomendations, and financial need. Applications can be printed from the Trust's website. Amici Italiani Scholarship
Up to four (4) renewable $1,000 scholarships to be awarded annually. The Amici Italiani Scholarship was created to honor and promote the values of scholastic achievement and Italian-American heritage in Wayne County, Ohio by providing financial assistance to students attending post-secondary schools in pursuit of their career and educational goals. The scholarship is based on merit and academic promise, not financial need. Although preference is given to applicants of Italian heritage, anyone may apply. Zody Miller Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship is available to any Wooster High School alumni, whose post high school education was interrupted and has not yet earned their degree. Preference will be given to students with greatest financial need. Find more information at their website.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Scholarship
The Wooster Branch for the American Association of University Women is pleased to announce the availability of its 2013 Wooster AAUW Scholarships. Detailed information and an application can be found at the website for the Wayne County Community Foundation.
Supported by the popular annual Book Sale in September, AAUW scholarships are given to Wayne County residents who are non-traditional female students. These women have had their undergraduate or professional education interrupted or delayed and now plan to continue their education. Deadline for applications is May 1, 2013 and scholarships will be awarded by June 15, 2013.
