Can you recommend overnight accommodations in Wooster?

To aid your selection in local accommodations we have gathered a list of local inns, bed and breakfasts, and national hotel chains in the area.

What is Wooster’s weather like in the month of April?

The month of April in Ohio can bring rays of sunshine, rain showers, or even a blanket of snow. We recommend checking the local forecast before your arrival to dress and pack accordingly.

What is the dress code for the President’s Dinner?

There is no dress code for any of the Admitted Student Program events. Please come dressed however you feel most comfortable.

What is the closest airport to Wooster’s campus?

Wooster is located near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Akron-Canton Airport (CAK). Please allow for up to an hour of travel time to and from both of these airports.

Where do we park on campus? Do we need a parking permit?

Parking is available throughout campus (you do not need a parking permit). We recommend accessing lots near Henrietta, University, and Pine Streets (off of Bever Street on the west end of campus near McGaw).

If I’m arriving on Monday, where should I register?

Guests arriving on Monday, the second day of the program, should register in the Lowry Center lobby.

How do I schedule an airport shuttle?

Airport shuttles to/from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Akron-canton Airport (CAK) are for prospective students traveling to campus unaccompanied. Shuttles from CLE and CAK will pick up students at 1pm on Sunday and depart from campus at 2pm Monday afternoon. To arrange a shuttle please contact Melanie Schultz.

I am interested in attending a class on campus, how do I reserve a seat?

All classes for the Admitted Student Program are pre-assigned based off of the primary and secondary academic interests listed on the student’s registration form. Remember to check off on the registration form that you are interested in attending a class.

Who do I need to contact to schedule a Financial Aid appointment?

To schedule an appointment, please contact Melanie Schultz. Appointments are on a first come first serve basis.

Who do I need to contact to schedule a special appointment with a professor, coach, etc.?

To request a special appointment please contact Melanie Schultz or list any special requests on the registration form in the comments section. Please note special appointments are not guaranteed due to the volume of guests on campus.
