The Workshop Directors have all served as President of the Active
Learning in International Affairs (ALIAS) Section of the International
Studies Association (ISA), the largest professional organization
of teacher-scholars in international affairs in the world. ALIAS is
a strong network of committed teachers which supports the development
and use of active and experiential learning techniques in international
affairs, promotes discussion of the practical aspects of teaching

and history in order to provide a body of knowledge, perspectives
and critical skills for understanding global politics.
Their teaching specializations range across the discipline, including
