Job Description
The Department of History invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in medieval and/or early modern European history beginning August 2012. The successful candidate will teach the introductory survey of western civilization to 1600, courses in European and/or global history before 1800, and courses in his/her field of expertise. He/she will also supervise undergraduate research in the Independent Study Program, the College’s program of faculty-mentored undergraduate research. PhD preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.
