Wooster prepared me to be successfully independent as soon as I graduated. My current job as a social media marketer requires me to be extremely self-disciplined (I work from home), and to devote a significant amount of my day to reading, writing, and research - much as my I.S. did. I have been able to deal with deadlines and difficult projects capably, work through issues methodically, work well with my coworkers, and utilize the time management each student at Wooster hones throughout four years to help me reach success in my endeavors. Wooster also taught me to think outside the box, be creative, and be willing to take new steps, even if I'm not always sure where they'll lead me - and this has helped me not only in my job, but in all areas of my life. I am enjoying my current job, and could see it leading to other similar lines of work in the coming years. I hope to always keep my love of reading, writing, and learning at the forefront of what I do every day, no matter what job I have.
