When she was writing her I.S. on feminist political theory, Julia Klein never dreamed that one day she would lead one of the nation's largest women-owned businesses, C.H. Briggs, a construction supply company. Now she can't imagine not running her own business. "We sell real things to real people who build things that people need," Klein says. "There's something intrinsically satisfying about that."
