Entrepreneurship is fundamentally about taking action that challenges the status quo. To empower students to make a positive impact on the world, the Center for Entrepreneurship offers a wide variety of programs and activities for students of all majors. Any student with an interest in Entrepreneurship can find opportunities to complement and enhance their career goals and academic experience.
Driven by the philosophy that great ideas have to be put into action, the Center offers resources such as 3-D printers, application development, student business support, and internship opportunities. Each year, the Center hosts a number of events such as: TEDx talks, an Idea Competition, and entrepreneurial speakers. There are interdisciplinary courses related to entrepreneurship open to all students along with two social entrepreneurship courses offered through the Department of Business Economics.
The Center for Entrepreneurship welcomes any student interested in exploring entrepreneurship to enhance their Wooster experience. Contact us for more information or visit our offices in APEX.
Programs in the Center for Entrepreneurship are made possible through the generous support of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation.
