Did you miss the application deadline in February? Did you recently find an internship opportunity for the summer? We are happy to announce a second round of APEX Fellowship Applications. These "Last Chance" Applications are due by 8 a.m. Monday, April 1st.

The application for APEX Fellowships will be made through your e-portfolio. If you need help setting up your e-portfolio you may down load the How To, or you may stop by APEX Tuesdays between 7 and 9 p.m., Wednesdays between 3 and 5 p.m., or Thursdays between either 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. or 6 and 8 p.m. to get help from one of the APEX interns.

We are having a How to Apply session on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at noon in APEX. If you can't make the session, you can download the handout.

"Last Chance" Application Details

Due Date: Monday, April 1 - by 8:00 a.m.
Means of Submission: e-Portfolio
Review of applications begins immediately
Interviews begin April 8
Notification of winners will be April 14

Application Checklist

Make a separate page, labeled "APEX Fellowship", on the "Milestones" tab of your e-Portfolio.
Write a brief summary (30 words or less) of your application at the top of this page.
Fill out the online application.
Write your Personal Statement & Action Plan (if required).
Create or update your professional resume.
Obtain a copy of your transcripts from ScotWeb.
Document your contact with your host organization(s).
Save the previous 5 items as pdfs and upload them to your "APEX Fellowship" page on your e-Portfolio.
Ask for two recommendations to be completed by the application deadline.
Add on sentence about each of your refrences to your "APEX Fellowship" page on your e-Portfolio.
Give permission to kparthemore, jramsay, pabramo, cmcconnell, rozar, & lsigrist to view your e-Portfolio.
When all the above steps have been completed, email APEX with the direct link to your "APEX Fellowship" page on your e-Portfolio.
