Arts, Media, & Entertainment

  • ArtsOpportunities.org is a comprehensive site to search for internships in a wide-range of art focused areas such as administration, education, programming, and many others.
  • Music, Media, & Entertainment Industry Internship Guide is a complete guide of internships with a cross reference section to help identify opportunities related to areas of interest or academic majors. Password required, contact Career Planning.

Environment

  • The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is a nonprofit organization that offers conservation internships and summer trail crew opportunities to more than 3,000 people each year. SCA members complete projects in every conservation discipline – from archeology to zoology – and everything in between.
  • The Orion Grassroots Network lists internships offered by organizations at work in the areas of conservation, restoration, education, democracy, justice, health, economics, and more.
  • Job Seeker Summer Edition specializes in Natural Resource and Environmental internships and jobs. Spend your summer outdoors!

Government

  • USA Jobs lists summer positions with governmental agencies, and provides instructions on how to apply.
  • The U.S. State Department offers a number of domestic and foreign internship and fellowship opportunities for undergraduates.

International 

  • Going Global is an international database which contains country-specific career and employment resources for more than 80 locations.
  • Idealist.org is a great site that allows non-profit organizations to enter and update information about their services, volunteer opportunities, job openings, internships, upcoming events, and any material or publication they have produced.
  • Internabroad.com is the source for international internships. Search for paid and volunteer, academic and non-academic internships, as well as college credit practical training programs around the world.

  • Idealist.org is a great site that allows non-profit organizations to enter and update information about their services, volunteer opportunities, job openings, internships, upcoming events, and any material or publication they have produced.

Science/Research

  • Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduates lists internships in astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, earth science, engineering, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, and more.
