Ongoing Projects
What's happening at the E-Center?
There are fun and engaging entrepreneurial activities constantly going on at the E-Center through many different channels. Here are a few of the exciting things going on right now!
The E-Group is currently developing three different projects including:
- The creation of a student run art saloon located in or near downtown Wooster. The aim of the saloon is to give students and the Wooster community a place to come together and enjoy or even share different talents ranging from music to art displays. The E-Group hopes to develop a friendly atmosphere that will allow students and members of the community to come to the saloon, grab a drink or bite to eat and enjoy a musician, art display, or short film presented by a member of the College or surrounding Wooster community.
- In conjunction with the art saloon, the E-Group is working on putting together a shuttle service that will function as transportation for students from campus to downtown as well as different areas around the city. Also, plans are being discussed to have a shuttle service to other cities outside of Wooster ranging from Akron, Cleveland, to Columbus. The E-Group believes a shuttle service would be invaluable to campus life.
New ideas and projects are also discussed at every meeting so there are always ideas and projects being tossed around at the E-Center for you to take part in!
Contests!
The E-Center is also holding two competitions this year with an idea competition in the Fall semester with up to $500 awards possible and a implementation competition in the Spring semester with prizes of up to $20,000! More information.
