Green Corps, Cleveland Botanical Garden.

Objective

To assist the Farm Manager with daily activities at the Learning Farms and with market development.

Responsibilities

  • Integrated Pest Management-maintain good pest management practices skills for special situations that need the Farm Manager’s assistance
  • Irrigation Systems-set-up and maintain irrigation systems for the different Learning Farms
  • Weekly Harvest-assist at each Learning Farm with large-scale harvests for off-site markets
  • Harvest Records-maintain good records of harvest for use at the end of the growing season
  • Transplant Management-start and manage transplants for each Learning Farm
  • Large Project Assistance-Assist with large projects at each Learning Farm as needed
  • Market-Work at off-site markets as needed
