Geoffrey Kilili, Visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology / Postdoctoral Fellow from the College of Wooster will present... topic to be determined.
Geoffrey earned his 1995: B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya in 1995, his M.Sc. in Natural products and Biotechnology from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Greece and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry fromTufts University, Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical sciences, Boston, MA. in 2010.
He is most interested in human infectious diseases; Host-pathogen protein-protein interactions. His current project focuses on Molecular and biochemical mechanisms that govern targeting and interaction of exported Plasmodium falciparum proteins with the red blood cell (RBC) membrane and cytoskeletal proteins.
