Casey McGrath is currently affiliated with the Lynch lab at Indiana University. She earned her B.A. from Smith College in 2005.
Casey’s interests involve the evolution of genetic and genomic architecture and how the resulting features affect the evolution of species and populations.
Her current work focuses on studying the consequences of the series of at least four whole-genome duplications that occurred in the Paramecium lineage.
Casey is subbing for Thomas Doak who was originally scheduled for this date. Thomas is Postdoctoral Research Associate from Indiana University in the same lab.
