The 2013 OARDC-COW Research Opportunities Symposium will feature six faculty from the OARDC who will briefly describe their research programs and opportunities they have for student researchers, including summer 2013, spring semester and Senior IS projects. The research topics range from chemical engineering to cell biology to environmental ecology. If you are interested in exploring research opportunities at any level, please feel welcome to attend and learn more about what our neighbors south of town are doing!
Presenting this week...
Dr. Eric Stockinger will discuss the regulation of transcriptional responses to stress.
Dr. Reed Johnson will explore Agroecology: Honeybees, pollinators and pesticides.
Dr. Giresh Rajashekara will discuss controlling the survival and persistence of Campylobacter jejuni infections.
There will be a lunch mixer afterwards in the connector for an opportunity to speak directly to the faculty about any opportunities you might be interested in pursuing.
Posters describing other opportunities that are also available will also be hanging in the hallway and in the Mateer lobby.
