Notes

Florence has previously been an instructor at the University of Southern Maine, and just prior to Wooster, a senior lecturer at the University of Rochester. She completed her dissertation on “Hellenic Identities in Old Comedy”. Her research and teaching interests include Greek and Roman literature and history, with special foci in comedy, satire, gender and ethnicity.
