What could you do with your degree?

Students with a Communication Studies degree pursue careers in various fields such as journalism, politics and public service, public relations, education, non-profit management, business, advertising, human resources, law, and public health.

What kind of post-graduate degrees have our majors earned?

Our Communication Studies graduates have gone on to earn post-graduate degrees such as: Master's degree, Master's of Business Administration, Ph.D., Juris Doctor or law degree, MD or medical degree, and even DVM or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Their areas of focus are extensive, including:

Communication: political communication, public relations, communication and leadership, journalism and mass communication, rhetorical studies, and organizational communication.

Communication Sciences and Disorders Majors

What could you do with your degree?

The Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) major prepares students for graduate study or careers in speech-language pathology or audiology, education, nursing, social work, and more.
CSD graduates work as audiologists, speech-language pathologists, rehabilitation specialists, .behavior therapists, special educators, early childhood intervention specialists, education directors, and teachers. Our majors also include graduates who have had successful careers as a social worker, a magazine editor, a pastry chef, and a director of college admissions, among other professions.
