Ohio Seismic Network
The College of Wooster seismometer is part of the State of Ohio's seismic network administered by the Geological Survey, Division of Natural Resources. OhioSeis utilizes a broadband, digitally recording seismometer registered by a GPS clock. Our mission is to collect information on regional and global seismic events and to disseminate this information to the local community and to interested researchers.
