Auditions for Wooster Chorus will take place during the first week of classes from August 27 - August 31. Audition sign-up sheets will be posted on the door of 207 Scheide. If you have any questions regarding auditions, please contact the director, Lisa Wong.
Incoming first year students AND/OR students who have not previously been a member of Wooster Chorus OR Wooster Singers: Please prepare one solo that best showcases your voice. An art song or folk song is preferred; Broadway show tunes are also acceptable. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring a second copy of the music if you need one for yourself. There will also be a short sight-reading example to assess your familiarity with reading music notation.
Returning students who have previously been a member of Wooster Chorus and/or Wooster Singers: Please prepare measures 672 (with pick-up) - 695 of Gustav Mahler's "Resurrection Symphony," which we will be performing in November.
