Gary DeVault recently retired as Fine Arts Consultant for the Tri-County Educational Service Center, where he supervised the curriculum and instruction of the educational programs in the areas of music, visual art, drama/theatre, and dance. He possesses extensive experience in the fields of music education, arts administration, grant writing, arts academic content standards, arts assessment and arts integration and has served as an arts education consultant, worked with arts organizations and educational institutions at the local, state, and national level. Mr. DeVault has been elected to leadership positions with Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, Ohio Music Education Association, Americans for the Arts, and the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network, a national outreach program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Mr. DeVault is a graduate of Heidelberg College with a Bachelor of Music Education and holds a Master of Music Education from The University of Akron and certification in supervision, and gifted and talented from Ashland University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in Music Education and accompanist at the College of Wooster.
