Biography, Performance, and Research

Adjunct instructor of piano at Wooster, 1998-1999, 2004-05 (spring semester), and 2005-06. B. Mus. in Piano Performance, The Cleveland Institute of Music, 1976; M. Mus. in Piano Performance, The Cleveland Institute of Music, 1978. Her principal piano teacher was Vitya Vronsky Babin. Since 1989 she has been Coordinator of the Accompanying Department and piano faculty member at Akron University School of Music. She is a prize winner in several competitions including the J. S. Bach International Piano Competition in Washington, D.C. (1980) and the Casadesus International Piano Competition in Cleveland, Ohio (1977). For many years, she has been a very active performer as collaborative pianist and soloist in Northeast Ohio, elsewhere in the U.S., and Brazil, Chile, and Australia.
