The machine shop contains a vast array of tools and machinery. In addition to a wood shop, metal working capabilities have been increased by the addition of a Birmingham vertical milling machine and gap bed lathe. The College employs an instrument technician/machinist as well as an electronics/instrumentation technician who assist students and faculty with their machine shop needs in Independent Study projects, research, or classroom projects.
