The Physics Research Lab contains the set-up for a cavity ring-down investigation of distributed Bragg reflectors (DBRs). The set-up was recently redesigned to incorporate optical feedback and make the cavity more stable. Also found in the research lab are ongoing experiments in parity-based measurement and control of transverse quantum states of light, bi-modal two photon interference, and recently work began on setting up an entangled photon apparatus which will double as an undergraduate teaching tool to repeat many famous experiments.
