$4,000 just for you!
Students who attend an on-campus, in-person visit coordinated through the Office of Admissions will automatically receive a $4,000 ($1,000 annually) Wooster Visit Award upon admission. Find a day that works for you, register for your visit and secure your award.
*Students must be U.S. citizens, first-year applicants, with a high school graduation year of 2024 or younger, and coordinate and complete an in-person visit through the Office of Admissions before December 15 of their senior year. The Wooster Visit Award, once confirmed by the Admissions Office, will be included in the financial aid offer following admission. The award will be honored for visit dates after January 3, 2023.
The Wooster Visit Award is applicable to tuition only, so students who are eligible for and awarded funds that cover full tuition such as the Posse Scholarship, the Great Lakes College Association (GLCA) program, Wooster’s employee tuition remission, or Veteran’s Education Benefits are ineligible.
Daily Campus Tours & Interviews
Wooster offers individual and personalized visit experiences throughout the week and on select Saturdays. All individual visits include a student-led campus tour and the option for a conversation with an admissions representative. Students interested in participating in a Division III sport may request to meet with a coach (subject to availability).
While on campus, you’ll also have the opportunity to have an interview with an admissions staff member. This 30-minute conversation is an opportunity for you to share your interests and experiences which allows our team to best support you through your college search and application process. Interviews are recommended for admission, and are a required step to be eligible for our top merit scholarship, the College Scholar Award.
Attention High School Seniors! We now have overnight visits available.
Scot Saturdays
You’ll interact with more than a dozen Wooster students as they lead an extended tour of campus. Guests will see classrooms, the Scot Center athletic facility, and our Collaborative Research Environment and APEX (Wooster’s hub for academic advising, internships, off-campus study, and career planning). The day includes optional lunch for visiting students. This program is ideal for first-time visitors looking for a general introduction to Wooster.
