Dr. Adams's research interests include political conflict and human rights, identity politics, postcolonial theory, urbanization and transnationalism, feminist anthropology, human sexuality, reproductive health and technologies, personhood in cross-cultural perspective, and ethics in scientific advancements; US Southwest and Latin America.
