Grossman completed her undergraduate work in Public Relations with a minor in Sociology as well as a Master's in Sociology at the University of South Carolina.  She is currently finishing her dissertation titled Understanding How Class, Race, and Gender Are Associated With Social Capital at the University of Akron.
