Life is a Dream

By Pedro Calderon de la Barca

Segismundo, the Prince of Poland, has been imprisoned in a tower since birth because a prophecy foretold that he would bring violence to the country. For years the king has kept his secret, until one day he frees his son to test fate. As the events unfold, questions about free will and destiny, dreams and reality, and of life. This 17th century classic is considered one of the greatest plays written during the Spanish Golden Age.
