David Tidwell is pleased to have the opportunity to serve as the James N Wise Visiting Assistant Professor of Scenic & Lighting Design and to fill in for Dr Dale Seeds during the 2012-13 academic year. David has taught at many institutions including SUNY Fredonia, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Daytona Beach College, Kansas State University, the University of South Dakota and locally at Ashland University. He is a professional United Scenic Artist Local 829 Scenic Design member, a member of IATSE and has had the opportunity to design for everything from commercial television to independent films and major corporate trade shows as well as overseas with Hong Kong International School. He is thrilled to have the chance to work with the talented and dedicated students, faculty and professional staff here at The College of Wooster. He is supported by a loving family including a wife of 30 years, currently the technical Director here at The College of Wooster, a son working in web design in New York City and a daughter in the School of Law at the University of South Dakota.
