Choosing the intensive language CET Beijing program for my semester abroad was one of the greatest decisions of my college career because not only did my language skills vastly improve, but with that my understanding of the Chinese culture and the beautiful land of China. It was an incredible four months full of amazing travel, learning, food, people, and personal growth. My time in Beijing continues to guide me today as it led to my I.S. topic where I am investigating the westernization of Chinese food in America and I recently accepted a two-year teaching fellowship with Teach for China in Yunnan or Guangdong province beginning after I graduate!
