I.S. - Archival Copy Submission

What needs to be submitted?

Submit to the Registrar's Office:

  • Two hard copies of the I.S.
  • Two additional copies of the I.S. cover page only (loose, not bound)

Submit a digital copy of your I.S. to the Libraries' Digital Resource Commons (DRC):

  • Submit your I.S. online.
  • Login using the email username: is-submission@wooster.edu. Please ask for the password by emailing I.S. Submissions.
  • For additional help, there are PDF instructions and YouTube instructions.

Why are we submitting an electronic copy?

For several years the Libraries have collected copies of Independent Study Theses for archival purposes. Going forward, we will be archiving these digitally.

What formats are accepted?

  • PDF (.pdf) * Preferred
  • Microsoft Word (.doc)
  • Audio/Video/Images
    You may submit audio, video, and/or image files, preferably in openly licensed formats (.mp3, .mp4, .mov, etc.).

How should I label my I.S.?

Please name your file(s) following the example below: (Use an underscore instead of spaces)

2012Smith_John.pdf

  • Graduation Year
  • Last Name
  • First Name (if applicable)
  • Part Number (if submitting multiple files)
  • Appropriate file extension (.pdf for PDF files and .doc for Word files--e.g., 2011smith_john.pdf)
  • Graduation Year
