Transcript Requests

A permanent academic record is maintained by the Registrar's Office for each student who registers at Wooster.  Wooster student records are administered in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

An official transcript of the academic record is available only upon the signed written request of the student. Requests are accepted by postal service, fax, or email. Please note, an email request is only acceptable if it includes an attached and scanned transcript request form with the student’s signature. Due to FERPA regulations, a telephone request cannot be accepted. The request must be accompanied by a payment of $4 per copy and can be released only if the student's account is clear of outstanding balances and College holds. Please note that the Registrar's Office does not provide complimentary copies of official student transcripts.

Unofficial transcripts are also available upon receipt of a signed transcript request form. Please indicate on the form that you would like an unofficial copy and provide the fax number or email address where you would like the transcript sent. There is no fee for an unofficial transcript.

Transcript Request Information

1. Name/any former names
2. Date of birth
3. Year of graduation/dates of attendance
4. Note undergraduate and/or post-graduate work
5. Complete address where the transcript(s) are to be sent
6. Number of transcripts being requested
7. Current address
8. Daytime phone number
9. Signature of student (In accordance with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act 1974)

Payment Options

1. Credit/Debit Card - Pay Online
2. Check - made payable to "The College of Wooster".
3. Money Order - made payable to "The College of Wooster".
4. Current students may use their COW card.
