Student Employment & Work Study

Work Study

At Wooster, part-time student employment opportunities are not limited to students with federal work study eligibility.

The Financial Aid Office determines eligibility for the federal work-study program, but employment opportunities are coordinated through the Student Employment Office

Any student seeking a part-time job should visit the Student Employment Office, located in the Human Resources Center on Wayne Avenue. This office maintains a listing of available work opportunities and coordinates student employment on campus.

Please note: Federal Work Study is NOT a credit towards the student's billed charges. The actual amount earned is determined by the hours worked, paid at minimum wage. Because these earnings are paid directly to the student as they work, families must not include the work-study suggested allocation when calculating how much will be owed to the college.
