Scheduling an Individual Visit
» Schedule an Individual Visit The Admissions Office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as select Saturdays during the academic year. The Office is closed on Saturdays from May through August. The office will be open from 8:30-4:30 for the summer beginning on June 2. Campus ToursYou'll get to see our campus - the classrooms, the residence and dining halls, the facilities, the manicured greens - but what's more, you'll get to see whatever you want to see. Our tours are conducted by current students who will personalize your visit to meet your specific interests. Tours are available Monday through Friday, at 9, 10, 11, 1, 2, and 3. Information SessionsBegin learning about The College of Wooster's admissions process by attending an information session conducted by an admissions staff member. Information sessions are available Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m., and on Saturdays at 12:15 p.m. running through the academic calendar. You do not need a reservation to attend an information session. Admissions InterviewsThe admissions interview is a two-way exchange; you find out more about us as we learn more about you. As the admission representative gets to know you, he or she will be better able to assess how Wooster would meet your needs. Relax and be yourself, and be sure to ask all of your questions. At the end of the interview, parents are invited to join the conversation and ask questions. Reservations made at least one week prior to visit are strongly recommended for interviews and are available Monday-Friday, at 9, 10, 11, 1, 2, and 3. Class VisitsLet us know your academic interests and we will contact professors in those areas to arrange classes for you to attend to get a better sense of how Wooster educates their students. Class visits are not offered during the summer months and will resume in September 2008. Meetings Across CampusIt is helpful and informative to speak with someone who shares your proposed areas of interest. The Office of Admissions can arrange for you to meet with a professor, staff member, coach or student to address specific questions regarding your involvement in a program. Requests for such appointments should be made at least one week prior to your anticipated visit. Faculty and coaches will be available for individual meetings beginning in September 2008. Overnight StaysAs a residential college we pride ourselves on our campus community. Overnight stays are available for seniors for one night, Sunday through Thursday while classes are in session. Staying overnight on campus allows prospective students to eat in the dining hall, stay in the residence hall or campus home, and take part in the rich campus life outside of the classroom. Overnight stays should be reserved at least one week in advance to ensure availability. Overnight hosts will be available beginning September 7, 2008.
