Mount Kilimanjaro, an awesome and magnificent mountain, is the highest mountain in Africa. It is also one of the largest single freestanding mountains in the world. The giant snow-capped dome, towering high above the surrounding savannahs is one of Africa's classic images.

Reaching 5896 metres above sea level, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, and one of the highest vulcanoes in the world. The attraction of these facts make a trip towards the summit of "Kili" an essential part of a stay in Tanzania. This tour is attractive to many people because a trip to the summit is possible with the right gear and the right preparation without technical tools such as ice-axes and ropes.
