Archaeological Institute of America
The AIA is one of the oldest
organizations in the world dedicated to the study and preservation of the
human past. Membership is open to both professionals and the interested
public. The AIA publishes two major journals, the American
Journal of Archaeology, a scholarly periodical which focuses on
the ancient cultures of Europe and the Near East, and Archaeology,
with brief articles written by professionals for the general public and
covering the whole world.
