The Scot offense was nearly flawless in the first half, amassing 238 yards of total offense and 31 points in two quarters. Doing most of the damage for Wooster was quarterback Rich Judd, who came off of the bench to complete 7-of-10 passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns. His most impressive efforts came in the final minute of the first half, when he led Wooster 68 yards for a touchdown. During that drive, he completed 5-of-6 passes, including three to Brandon Good. For the game, Good caught nine passes for 122 yards.
Another big play during the opening half came on the first play of the second quarter, when Jeff Elser scored on a 40-yard run. The bad news is that Elser hurt his ankle in the second half and missed the rest of the game.
The Scots upped their lead to 45-10 late in the third quarter, as Judd threw two more touchdown passes, the final one a 10-yard score to B.J. Soloman - his first collegiate catch. For the game, Judd completed 14-of-22 passes for 195 yards and four touchdowns.
Also playing well for the Scots was Will Schober, who rushed for a career-high 66 yards on 16 carries. Wide receiver Reggie Ray caught three passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Mike Noble returned an interception 37 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
