Game 7 - Kenyon

Bill Miklandric and the Scot defense limited Kenyon to just 99 yards of total offense in Wooster's 47-3 win.
Coming off of a heartbreaking 28-27 defeat to Allegheny the week before, it was hard to judge how the Scot football team would be affected the next time it stepped on the field. Wooster showed that it was even more determined than ever, as it posted its largest victory in 17 years by crushing Kenyon 47-3 at John P. Papp Stadium.

The Scots (6-1, 4-1) dominated the game in every facet. They outgained the Lords 506-99 in total offense, including a 208-23 edge on the ground. This was the second time this season that the Wooster defense held an opponent under 100 yards of total offense. The Scots limited Earlham to just 43 yards earlier this season.

Wooster started slowly, as their first drive stalled inside the 20-yard line, forcing Ben Arnold to make a 30-yard field. But after that, Wooster could not be stopped. Quarterback Rich Judd hit Brandon Good for a 21-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter to give Wooster a 10-0 lead. In the second quarter, Judd hit Doug Laditka and B.J. Soloman for touchdown passes, giving the Scots a 24-3 halftime lead.

Judd continued his big day in the second half, as he hit Reggie Ray for a 35-yard score. Overall, Judd was 17-of-28 for 228 yards and four touchdowns.

Having similar success on the ground was Jeff Elser, who rushed for 130 yards on 20 carries and scored on touchdown runs of five and two yards.
