The College of Wooster field hockey team remained undefeated in conference play on Saturday (Sept. 16) with a 4-0 victory over Kenyon College.

The host Scots, who are now 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference, dominated play throughout the match, outshooting the Ladies 26-0.

Wooster's lone goal of the first half came off the stick of junior Emily White, who was assisted on the play by senior Amanda Bernardon.

Less than five minutes into the second stanza, sophomore Lindsey Boardman gave the Scots a 2-0 lead off a pass from White. Wooster added a third goal just two minutes later on a shot from White, assisted by freshman Nicole Pritchard. The Scots tacked on an insurance goal by freshman Alanna Tryder with 4:29 left to play.

Senior goalkeeper Melissa Goodwin recorded her first shutout of the season, while on the other side of the field, the Ladies' Tamar Chalker totaled 13 saves.

Wooster will play its second of seven consecutive NCAC matches on Wednesday (Sept. 20), when the Scots play host to Ohio Wesleyan at 4:30 p.m.
