Despite outshooting Hiram College 11-5, The College of Wooster
men's soccer team returned home with a 1-0 loss to the Terriers on Saturday
(Sept. 23) in North Coast Athletic Conference play.
The lone score came off the foot of senior Brian Babb in the
match's 23rd minute.
Defensively, Wooster senior goalie Adam Wegner registered four
saves, while Hiram's Joe Vari produced an 11-save outing en route to the
shutout.
The Scots, who dropped to 5-2-2 overall and 1-2-0 in the NCAC,
return to non-conference action next, as they begin a three-game home
stretch against Muskingum on Wednesday (Sept. 27) at 4:30 p.m.
