The College of Wooster men's soccer team attacked the Case Western Reserve University net again and again to no avail on Wednesday (Sept. 17) in Cleveland, Ohio, until Adam Milligan scored his team-leading fourth goal during the 90th minute of action to give the Scots a thrilling 1-0 win.

Overall, Wooster outshot the hosts 21-7, but were unable to light the scoreboard until Milligan's marker from about 12 yards out on the right side of the field with just 10 seconds remaining. He was assisted by Tyler Bosch, whose pass actually deflected off of a Case Western Reserve defender and then bounced off the butt of a Scot player over to Milligan.

Making his first start in goal since Oct. 24, 2001, David Workman preserved the victory by making three saves for the squad's second shutout of 2003. Workman, a senior who was Wooster's starting goalie as a sophomore, missed the entire 2002 campaign due to a very serious off-season leg injury.

The Spartans' Jim Cole registered six saves.

The Scots will try and carry the momentum into Saturday's (Sept. 20) North Coast Athletic Conference lid-lifter at home against Allegheny College (4-0-1) at 3 p.m.
