Wooster, which finished with a record of 11-12 last year, opened the match by sweeping the doubles points with ease. Then, Wooster nearly swept the singles competition as well, starting out with a straight-set (6-3, 6-3) win for Saldanha, a native of Pune, Indian, over Alexander at the top flight. Sophomore Brandon Lichtman won the closest match of the day at fifth singles where he eased past Dan Altman 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
Wabash's lone point came from Lynch, who beat Ogg 6-1, 5-7, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
