The College of Wooster sent a small contingent of student-athletes to the All-Ohio Championships Wednesday for a rare mid-week track & field meet. It had originally been scheduled for last Saturday, but was postponed due to the weather.

Leading the Fighting Scots’ individual results was Tristan Jordan, who placed third overall in the triple jump, the same event he won at this past winter’s All-Ohio meet. Wednesday’s outdoor meet saw him post a mark of 42 feet, 10.25 inches, while teammate Eric Dyer was just four inches back (42 feet, 6.25 inches) in fourth. Jordan also produced a fifth-place effort in the long jump (20 feet, 11.25 inches), and Wooster’s other scorer on the men’s side was Bryan Albani, who took fourth in the 110 hurdles (15.27).

On the women’s side, the Scots’ two competitors were Kelly Aughenbaugh and Ashley Zervos, who earned eighth-place in the long jump (15 feet, 6 inches) and 5000 meters (19:14.24), respectively.

The Wooster track teams resume their regular schedule this Saturday at the Kenyon Invitational.
