  • The men have qualified swimmers for the NCAA Championships 16 times, including 2000, when four Scots earned All-American honors.
  • Thirteen different men's school records have been set in the past seven years, including Austin Carter in the 100 backstroke in 2005.
  • The men's third-place finish at the 2003 NCAC Championships was their best since 1997.
  • The women have scored points at every NCAA Championship since 1986 and have finished among the top 15 teams in seven of the past eight seasons.
  • The women's team finished 5th at the 2003 NCAA Championship Meet, equaling its best showing ever (also finished 5th in 1984-85 & 1985-86).
  • The women have had 46 All-American swimmers in the past six seasons and over 92 different All-Americans in the past 16 seasons.
  • Fifteen different women's school records have been set in the past five years (out of 21 total events).
  • Wooster hosted the NCAA Div. III Championships in 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2008.
  • Elizabeth Roesch ('05) captured Wooster's third individual national title by winning the 1650 freestyle at the 2005 NCAA Championships.
  • Elizabeth Roesch ('05) was named NCAC Swimmer of the Year after winning three events at the 2005 NCAC Championships.
  • Liz Whittam ('04) won the NCAC title in the 200 individual medley and finished second at the NCAA Championship Meet (2:05.36) in 2002.
  • Kayla Heising ('04) was named NCAC Swimmer of the Year after setting conference records in the 50 freestyle (23.33) and 100 freestyle (51.24) in 2003.
  • Kayla Heising ('04) was named second-team Academic All-American and earned an NCAA postgraduate scholarship in 2004.
