CINCINNATI, Ohio - After coming back from a 17-point second-half deficit to win on Friday, The College of Wooster women's basketball team reversed rolls today, seeing a 36-27 halftime lead against the hosts of the College of Mount St. Joseph Tournament turn into a 61-56 loss in the championship game of the event.

Mount St. Joseph, on the other hand, connected on 56.5 percent (13-of-23) of its shots during the second half, as compared to 41.9 percent (13-of-31) in the opening stanza.

Statistically, sophomore forward Nara DeJesus (Geneva, Ohio / Geneva) posted a double-double in leading Wooster in both scoring and rebounding with 14 points and 11 boards. Stephanie Woodruff (Toledo, Ohio / Sylvania Northview), a junior guard, was next in the scoring column with 12 tallies, while everyone else was held to six points or less.

For the Lions, Shauna Lucas led the way with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field. Other major contributors for the hosts included Virginia Grace, who had 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting and six rebounds, and Shauna Bemmes, who registered 11 points and four assists.

The Scots, who are now 1-1 on the year, don't play until Wednesday, Nov. 29, when they travel to Delaware, Ohio, for a match-up against Ohio Wesleyan University, the defending regular season champions in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
