Sophomores Erin Lustic (Cleveland Hts. / Cleveland Hts.) and Lisa Henderson (Arlington, Va. / Washington-Lee) were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference First-Team, highlighting the College of Wooster's honorees on the all-conference women's soccer team, released Thursday by the league office.

Lustic, who transferred from Wright State University, started slow in her first season with the Scots, but she caught fire down the stretch to earn a postseason award. Over her last seven games, Lustic tallied nine assists, including three on game-winning goals, and closed out the season with two goals in the final game against Kenyon College. She led Wooster with 10 assists on the season and finished third on the team in scoring with 16 points.

Henderson, also earning her first postseason distinction, was the anchor to a Scot defense that limited opponents to just 0.71 goals and 7.94 shots per outing. She was part of seven shutouts for Wooster on the year and helped out on the offensive end with one assist.

Earning second-team All-NCAC recognition for the first postseason accolades in their careers were sophomore Sarah Schostarez (Portage, Mich. / Portage Northern) and freshman Angela Evans (Worthington, Ohio / Thomas Worthington). Schostarez was the offensive catalyst for the Scots, leading the team with 22 points on seven goals and eight assists. She started the season by recording a point in her first seven games of the year, leading Wooster to a 6-0-1 mark over that span.

Evans teamed with Henderson to shut down the opposing offense in the backfield. Playing in all 18 games in her first year, she helped the defense limit its opponents to just 13 goals for the entire season. Additionally, Evans contributed to the offense, recording three assists on the year, including the helper on the game-winner over Mount Saint Joseph.

Rounding out the Scots' all-conference selections, Laura Ayer (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Mt. Lebanon) and Jen Jones (Toledo, Ohio / Maumee) received honorable mention, marking the first and second such awards of their careers, respectively. Playing from the midfield, Ayer was a playmaker in the field for the Scots, setting up her teammates time and again for shots at the goal. She appeared in every game for the Scots, starting 10, and recorded one goal and one assist.

Jones was Wooster's only repeat selection, as the junior was also selected honorable mention in 2003. Starting all 18 games as a defender, she was part of a formidable back line for the Scots, which limited the opposition to one or less goals 16 times, highlighted by the seven shutouts. Jones' lone goal was the only score in a 2-1 loss to Allegheny College.

As a team, the Scots completed 2004 with a 13-4-1 record, including going undefeated against non-league foes (9-0-1). It marked the program's 13th double-digit win total during the last 15 seasons. Wooster finished the NCAC regular season in a tie for fourth-place, along with Allegheny and Kenyon, but lost the bid to the conference tournament via a tie-breaker.
